Son competentes para la expedición y revalidación de permisos para tenencia y para porte de armas y para la venta de municiones y explosivos en los lugares que determine el Ministerio de Defensa Nacional, las siguientes autoridades militares: El Jefe del Departamento Control Comercio Armas, Municiones y Explosivos, los Jefes de Estado Mayor de las Unidades Operativas Menores o sus equivalentes en la Armada Nacional o la Fuerza Aérea y los Ejecutivos y Segundos Comandantes de Unidades Tácticas en el Ejército Nacional, o sus equivalentes en la Armada Nacional y la Fuerza Aérea.

Article 32. Competences

The following military authorities are competent and responsible for the issuance and the renewal of ownership and carrying permits and for the sales of ammunition and explosives in sites determined by the Ministry of National Defence: the Head of the Department for the Trade Control of Arms, Ammunition and Explosives, the Chiefs of Staff of the Tactical Operations Units or their equivalent in the Navy or the Air Force and the Executive and Deputy-Heads of Tactical Units of the National Army, or their equivalents in the Navy and the Air Force.
