Artículo 85. Polígonos de Tiro

El Ministerio de la Defensa Nacional será la única autoridad facultada para extender permisos especiales para el funcionamiento de polígonos de tiro.

Para tal efecto, la Comisión Técnica deberá inspeccionar y aprobar su lugar de ubicación, planos, instalaciones y medidas de seguridad, conforme al instructivo correspondiente.

Dicho permiso tendrá un período de vigencia de un año contando a partir de su emisión, el cual será renovable por igual período, previo el pago de los derechos correspondientes.

Article 85. Shooting Ranges

The Ministry of National Defence shall be the only authority in charge of granting special permits for the functioning of shooting ranges.

To that end, the Technical Commission must inspect and approve the location, design, facilities and security measures in accordance with the corresponding norms.

Such permits shall be valid for one year from the date of issue, and shall be renewable for the same period, upon payment of the corresponding duties.
