Artículo 72. Importación sin Número de Serie

No se permite la importación al territorio nacional de armas de fuego objeto de licencia o permiso, sin número de serie, procediéndose en este caso a su decomiso por los funcionarios competentes de la Aduana General de la República, los que informan de inmediato al órgano de la Policía Nacional Revolucionaria correspondiente y son extraídas del recinto aduanero por el órgano de Armamento del Ministerio del Interior.

Decree-Law No. 262 of 2008, on Arms and Ammunition

Article 72. Imports without Serial Number

Importing firearms subject to a licence or permit into the country without a serial number is not permitted, and will be followed by the weapon being decommissioned by the competent functionaries of the General Customs of the Republic, who shall inform the corresponding body of the Revolutionary National Police and will be carried away from the Customs premises by the Ministry of the Interior's armament authority.
