Artículo 1. Modificar el contenido del Decreto No.30-2000 contentivo de la Ley de control de armas de fuego, municiones, explosivos y otros similares, de fecha 11 de abril del año 2000, mediante reforma de sus Artículos 27 y 34, y la adición de los artículos 27-A, 27-B y 27-C, los cuales se leerán de la forma siguiente:

Artículo 34. Período de vigencia de los Permisos

Los permisos son intransferibles y tendrán una vigencia de cuatro (4) anos, pudiendo ser revalidados o ampliados por la autoridad competente, pero deberá acreditarse una constancia de no tener antecedentes penales para la revalidación.

Decree No. 69-2007, Modifying the Act on the Control of Firearms, Ammunition, Explosives and Other Related Materials

Article 1. Modifying the Decree No. 30-2000 of the Act on the Control of Firearms, Ammunition, Explosives and Other Related Materials, April 11, 2000, by amending Articles 27 and 34, and adding Articles 27-A, 27-B and 27-C, which will now be read in the following way:

Article 34. Period of Validity of Permits

Permits cannot be transferred and will be valid for four (4) years. They may be renewed or extended by the competent authority, but the applicant must show proof of having no prior criminal record.
