El almacenamiento de las armas orgánicas, partes, componentes y accesorios, por parte de los cuerpos de policía, órganos e instituciones que excepcionalmente ejerzan funciones propias del servicio de policía y demás órganos del Estado autorizados para la adquisición de armas, debe hacerse en los parques o depósitos destinados para tal fin y acatando las normas de seguridad establecidas por el órgano de la Fuerza Armada Nacional Bolivariana con competencia en materia de control de armas.

Act on the Disarmament and Control of Arms and Ammunition

Article 45. Storage of State-owned Firearms

The storage of state-owned firearms, their parts, components and accessories in the hands of police corps, bodies and institutions which exceptionally exercise proper functions of the police service and other State bodies authorised for the purchase of firearms, must take place in depots or storage sites intended for that purpose, and in compliance with security regulations set by the body of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces in charge of arms control.
