Artículo 20. Permiso de tenencia domiciliaria de arma de fuego

El órgano de la Fuerza Armada Nacional Bolivariana con competencia en materia de control de armas, podrá otorgar el permiso de tenencia domiciliaria de arma de fuego, a las personas naturales que hayan cumplido con los requisitos establecidos en el artículo 19 de la presente Ley. Dicho permiso tendrá una vigencia de tres años contados a partir de la fecha de su otorgamiento y se limitará a un arma de fuego.

Act on the Disarmament and Control of Arms and Ammunition

Article 20. Permit for In-house Ownership of Firearms

The body of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces in charge of arms control will be able to grant the permit for in-house ownership of firearms to individuals who have met the requirements set under article 19 of the present Act. Such permit will have a duration of three years, starting from the day of its issuance, and will be limited to one firearm.
