Artículo 16. Marcaje Obligatorio de las Armas de Fuego Importadas, Exportadas o en Transito

Las armas de fuego Importadas, exportadas, o en tránsito lnternacional por la República Bolivariana de Venezuela, autorizadas para tal fin por el órgano competente de la Fuerza Armada Nacional Bolivariana para el control de armas y municiones deben contener la siguiente información:

(1) Descripción de los elementos de las armas a transferir:

1. Numero de Serie.
2. Otros marcajes únicos.
3. Descripción de la marca, calibre y mecanismo.
4. Nombre del fabricante.
5. País de Origen.
6. Cantidad de Mercancías.
7. Valor de las Mercancías.

(2) País de lmportación y Exportación.

(3) Nombre y domicilio físico del usuario final.

(4) Detalles de la ruta de transporte, incluyendo países de tránsito, trasbordo y puertos de entrada o salida.

Decree No. 881, promulgating Regulations for the Law on Disarmament and Control of Firearms and Ammunition

Article 16. Mandatory Marking of Imported, Exported or In-transit Firearms

Firearms imported, exported or transiting in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, authorised for that purpose by the competent body of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces for the control of arms and ammunition, must contain the following information:

(1) Description of the elements of firearms to be transferred:

1. Serial number.
2. Other unique markings.
3. Description of the brand, calibre and mechanism.
4. Name of the producer.
5. Country of Origin.
6. Quantity of Goods.
7. Value of Goods.

(2) Importing and Exporting Country.

(3) Name and address of the final costumer.

(4) Details of the travel route, including countries through which the arms shall transit, transfer and arrival or departure ports.
