23 V.I.C. § 467a

Except as provided in section 476 of this chapter, whoever, without being licensed in accordance with this chapter, imports, carries, or brings any firearm or ammunition into the Virgin Islands and fails to report to the Commissioner as required by section 470 of this chapter shall be punished by a fine of not less than $ 50,000 or imprisonment for a minimum of 25 years or both fine.
