Firearms Recovered by the SAPS During Day-to-day Activities

To address the proliferation of firearms, a total of 21,268 firearms and 295,085 rounds of ammunition were recovered during day-to-day activities and special operations (compared to 17,824 firearms recovered in 2008/09).
