Artículo 47. (Requisitos Para Licencia)

Las licencias establecidas en el Artículo precedente, serán otorgadas por el Ministerio de Gobierno, previo cumplimiento de los siguientes requisitos mínimos:

1. Cédula de identidad vigente o documento de extranjería;
2. Ser mayor de veintiún años de edad.
3. Certificado de domicilio o residencia.
4. No tener sentencia ejecutoriada por la comisión de delitos con privación de libertad.
5. Presentar el documento que acredite la propiedad del arma de fuego.
6. Prueba balística del arma de fuego adquirida, realizada por la autoridad competente.
7. Cualquier otro que se establezca en el reglamento respectivo o por la autoridad competente.

Article 47. (Licence Requirements)

The licences set forth in the preceding article shall be granted by the Ministry of the Interior, subject to compliance with the following requirements:

1. Valid identity card or a foreign document;
2. Older then twenty-one years old.
3. Certificate of home or residence.
4. Not having been sent to prison by a criminal court.
5. Presentation of the documents which show ownership of the firearm.
6. Ballistic firearm test must be taken by the competent authority.
7. Anyone else who is established in the respective regulation or by the competent authority.
