Titre Ier: Procédure de délivrance des autorisations d'importation

Les importateurs doivent adresser au ministre chargé des douanes leur demande d'autorisation d'importation, établie dans les conditions définies par arrêté du ministre chargé des douanes.
Lorsque cette autorisation revêt une forme globale, elle couvre, pendant sa durée de validité, l'importation des matériels identifiés, sans limite de quantité ni de montant, en provenance d'expéditeurs désignés.
Lorsque la demande d'autorisation concerne des matériels destinés à être transbordés dans les ports ou aérodromes de France, elle est établie comme une demande d'autorisation de transit mentionnée à l'article 25.

Title I: Issuance Procedure for Import Authorisations
Article 1:

Importers must submit to the Minister in charge of Customs their application for an import authorisation, under conditions defined in an Order of the Minister in charge of Customs.
When it is a global authorisation it covers, during its validity period, the import of materials identified, without quantity or sum limits, coming from designated senders.
When the authorisation application concerns materials intended to be transhipped in ports or airports of France, it is completed like an application for a transit authorisation as mentioned in Article 25.
