¿Exige su país a los fabricantes autorizados de armas pequeñas y ligeras que apliquen unas marcas adecuadas y fiables en cada arma como parte integral del proceso de producción?

- Está previsto en la legislación, los procedimientos de identificación, no obstante al presente en el Uruguay no existen fabricas de armamento. En el proyecto de Ley mencionado en el parágrafo 4 se proyectan normas que regulan sobre marcaje, de conformidad con lo establecido en la CIFTA.

- Asimismo, de conformidad a lo establecido por la Circular 001/RNAE/07 de 19 de marzo de 2007, se establecen disposiciones sobre marcaje de armas de fuego y municiones, de conformidad a lo dispuesto por la CIFTA y el Protocol de Armas (Leyes 17.300 y 18.233).

Does your country require licensed manufacturers of SALW to apply an appropriate and reliable marking on each weapon as an integral part of the production process?

- Identification procedures are envisaged in legislation, nevertheless at present in Uruguay there are no weapons factories. The bill referred to in paragraph 4 deals will govern marking rules to accord with CIFTA.

- Also, pursuant to the established provisions in Circular 001/RNAE/07 of March 19, 2007, provisions on the marking of firearms and ammunition are established in accordance with CIFTA and the Arms Protocol (Laws 17.300 and 18.233).
