Article 20:

Sans préjudice de l'application, le cas échéant, des articles 237 et 238 du Code Pénal et des dispositions du Code des Douanes, les infractions aux dispositions du présent décret constituent des contraventions de la quatrième classe, punies conformément à l'article 362 du Code Pénal d'une amende de 4 000 à 25 000 francs et d'un emprisonnement de 5 à 10 jours ou de l'une de ces deux peines seulement.

En tout état de cause, l'arme irrégulièrement détenue sera confisquée.

Article 20:

Without prejudice to the application, if any, of articles 237 and 238 of the Criminal Code and the provisions of the Customs Code, violations of the provisions of this decree are considered as offences of the 4th class and are punishable, in accordance with article 362 of the Criminal Code, of a fine of 4,000 to 25,000 Francs and a prison term of 5 to 10 days, or of only one of these penalties.

In any case, the unlawfully possessed firearm will be confiscated.
