ii) What national measures exist to prevent the manufacture, stockpiling,
transfer and possession of unmarked or inadequately marked SALW? How have
these been implemented?

Fiji does not have a Weapon manufacturing industry. All unmarked weapons, if found can subject the possessor to severe penalties.

The Commissioner of Police conducts an annual reconciliation exercise between the record of weapons in his procession and the owner's of these weapons.

All unmarked or inadequately marked SALW are confiscated c.f. Arms and Ammunition Act 2003, s.7.
