La cession d'armes entre particuliers, à titre gratuit ou onéreux ne peut être effectuée que si le nouveau détenteur a préalablement obtenu un permis de port d'arme délivré par l'autorité administrative compétente.

The transfer of firearms between individuals, without charge or for payment, can only be made if the new holder has previously obtained a permit to carry firearms issued by the competent administrative authority.

However, firearms transfers can only be authorised after 2 years of possession by the transferrer.
