Artículo 39. Inscripción de los Establecimientos Comerciales para la Venta Regular de Armas Permitidas y su Munición

Los establecimientos comerciales dedicados a la venta regular de armas y municiones, deberán estar inscritos en el Departamento. Dicha inscripción faculta para la venta y reparación de armas permitidas y su munición. La solicitud de inscripción anual de establecimientos comerciales deberá ser presentada por escrito personalmente por el interesado o debidamente autenticada. En la solicitud se indicarán: nombre, apellidos, número de cédula de identidad o de residencia del solicitante o del representante legal de la sociedad, nombre del establecimiento, domicilio exacto y número telefónico, número de cédula jurídica, las citas de inscripción de la sociedad en el Registro Público.

Debe señalar el nombre del proveedor que le suplirá las armas y municiones. Indicar las medidas de seguridad que tiene el establecimiento y el lugar de almacenaje de las armas y municiones.

Article 39. Registration of Businesses Regularly Selling Permitted Arms and Ammunition

Businesses engaged in the regular sale of arms and ammunition must be registered at the Arms and Explosives Control Department. This registration entitles the business to sell and repair permitted arms and ammunition. The registration procedure must be done annually. The application must be submitted in writing by the applicant. If the applicant is not personally filing the application, it must be certified by a lawyer. The application must state: name, surname, identity or residence card number of the applicant or of the legal entity's representative, name of the business, exact address and telephone, corporate identification number, the company's registration number in the Public Registry.

It must state the name of the arms and ammunition provider. It must describe the security measures of the business and of the place where the arms and ammunition are stored.
