Para poseer y portar armas permitidas las personas físicas deberán:

a) Ser mayores de dieciocho años, salvo las excepciones señaladas en la presente ley.
b) No haber sido condenadas por delitos relacionados con el uso de armas.
c) No estar inhabilitadas, mediante resolución judicial para usar armas.

Article 22. Requirements

To be allowed to possess and carry arms, individuals must:

a) Be over eighteen years, except in the cases outlined in this Law.
b) Not have been convicted of crimes related to the use of arms.
c) Not have been disqualified by judicial decision to use arms.
