Artículo 25. Armas Prohibidas

En cuanto a la fabricación, tenencia, portación, importación, uso y comercialización, son armas prohibidas las siguientes:

a) Las que, con una sola acción del gatillo, disparan sucesivamente (en ráfaga) más de un proyectil, como ametralladoras, fusiles ametralladoras, subametralladoras y pistolas-ametralladoras. Igualmente, tienen ese carácter los fusiles y las carabinas semiautomáticas, cuyo cargador de munición tiene capacidad superior a diez tiros, excepto las armas de ignición anular.

b) Los artefactos que disparan proyectiles de carga explosiva, que explote por el impacto o por un dispositivo de tiempo, como las armas de artillería de cualquier tipo, los morteros, las bazucas, las lanza-granadas, los cañones y sus municiones…

g) La munición perforadora, trazadora, incendiaria y explosiva de cualquier calibre y los silenciadores de disparo en cualquier arma de fuego.

Article 25. Prohibited Firearms

It is prohibited to manufacture, possess, carry, import, use and sell the following firearms:

a) Those that fire more than one bullet after pulling the trigger only once (burst-fire systems), such as machine guns, machine-gun rifles, submachine guns and machine pistols. In this category are also included rifles and semiautomatic carbines which have magazines able to hold more than ten bullets, except arms that fire rimfire cartridges.

b) Devices that fire explosive charges which explode on impact or by a timing device, such as artillery arms of any kind, mortars, bazookas, grenade launchers, cannons and their ammunition…

g) Armour-piercing, tracer, incendiary and explosive ammunition of all calibres and silencers for any firearm.
