Artículo 80. Prohibición de Portación

No podrá concederse licencia de portación de arma de fuego a las personas siguientes:

a. Menores de veinticinco años de edad.
b. Personas declaradas en estado de interdicción.
c. Los contemplados en el artículo 731 de la presente Ley.

Se exceptúa del inciso a) del presente artículo a los miembros de las fuerzas de seguridad y orden público del Estado o las personas que se incorporen a dichas fuerzas como miembros activos, luego del proceso de capacitación correspondiente.

Article 80. Firearm Carrying Prohibition

A firearm carrying licence cannot be granted to the following persons:

a. Those under 25 years of age
b. Those who have been declared legally incompetent
c. Those who are described in the Article 731 of this Law.

Members of the State Security Forces or those who join the State Security Forces and have participated in the corresponding training process, are exempted from complying with section a) of this Article.
