- la finalisation du projet « armes contre micro projets de développement ». A titre de rappel, ce projet qui bénéficiait de l'appui technique et du soutien financier du Royaume de Belgique et qui était exécuté par la CNLPAL (Commission Nationale de Lutte contre la Prolifération des Armes Légères), visait l'échange d'armes contre des micro projets de développement (charrues, moulins, cheptel motopompes, décortiqueuses, céréales et engrais etc..). Les armes étaient remises individuellement à une Commission de Récupération mise en place par les populations, alors l'Etat les récupéraient et les détruisaient. Bien que possession individuelle et remises individuellement, ces armes ont généré un profit communautaire car les récipiendaires des micro projets étaient les Communes. A l'issue du projet, sur une population de 50 000 hbts, il a été récupéré 1 000 ARMES LEGERES…

Finalisation of the project "Firearms for Development Micro-Projects".

As a reminder, this project, which was supported by technical and financial support of the Kingdom of Belgium and was executed by CNLPAL (National Commission to combat Proliferation of Small Arms), was aimed at exchanging firearms for development micro-projects (ploughs, mills, pumps stockpiles, huskers, grains and fertilisers etc…).

The firearms were surrendered individually to the Recovery Commission established by the population, then salvaged by the State and destroyed. Although individually owned and individually delivered, these firearms have generated a profit because the recipients of these micro-projects were the communities. At the end of the project, on a population of 50,000 inhabitants, 1,000 Small Arms were recovered…
