Artículo 87. Medidas de Seguridad en las Armerías

Dentro de las armerías, las armas deben permanecer debidamente identificadas y almacenadas, tomándose las medidas físicas, tecnológicas y humanas de seguridad correspondientes, de conformidad con el reglamento respectivo, para evitar robos o pérdidas; en caso de ocurrir cualquier suceso, deberá dar aviso inmediato a la DIGECAM y a las autoridades competentes.

Para fines de la presente Ley, se entiende por armerías a los establecimientos que se dediquen a la reparación y servicio de armas de fuego.

Article 87. Security Measures at Armouries

Inside armouries, firearms must remain properly identified and stored. Physical, technological and human safety measures must be implemented in accordance with the relevant regulations in order to prevent theft or loss. In the event of any occurrence, it is necessary to notify immediately the Office for Arms and Ammunition Control and the authorities.

According to this Law, armouries are the businesses that repair and service firearms.
