Par décret No. 73/658 du 22 octobre 1973, le Cameroun a procédé à la réglementation de l'importation, de la vente, de la fabrication, de la détention et du port des armes à feu et des munitions.

L'Assemblée nationale a également adopté une loi portant sur la réglementation des activités des sociétés de gardiennage notamment en ce qui concerne l'acquisition et l'utilisation des armes a feu par lesdites sociétés.

In Cameroon, the decree No 73/658 of October 22, 1973, regulates the import, sale, manufacture, possession and carrying of firearms and ammunition.

The National Assembly also adopted a law on the regulation of the activities of security agencies, in particular in regard of the acquisition and use of firearms by those agencies.
