En el año 2009 se aseguraron un total de 24.293 armas de fuego. Sumando un total de 70.269 desde diciembre de 2006. Notándose un incremento en los aseguramientos de armas de fuego con características técnicas relevantes, tales como las pistolas FN Herstal Modelo Five Seven, Subametralladoras PS 90, Fusiles Calibre .50", Lanzacohetes y Morteros.
