Registering of a Production Firm

Production of weapons and ammunition may be carried out by a company on the basis of a prior approval by the Government, provided it meets the following conditions:

- Suitable work environment and facilities for the storage of weapons and
ammunition, appropriately trained personnel, for the production of weapons and ammunition, as well as technical and technological equipment and protection of the production of the weapons and ammunition.

- Proof of the provided quality control and effective marking

Authorization for the acceptance in the trade register as a trade company is issued by the Ministry of Economy as the authorization for production of weapons and ammunition is issued by the Ministry of the Interior after previous opinion by the
Ministry of Defence.

The registry of the companies is kept by the Ministry of Economy.

The production and trade in weapons and ammunition whose utilization has been
banned in accordance with international conventions shall be banned in the Republic of Macedonia and in accordance with the Law on Restrictive Measures (Official Gazette RM, 36/07).
