A nivel nacional, INDUMIL mantiene un registro sistematizado sobre las armas
que fabrica e importa … También se cuenta con un sistema de registro de las armas de fuego autorizadas legalmente a los particulares (personas naturales, jurídicas y servicios de vigilancia y seguridad privada) y a los organismos de seguridad del Estado. El sistema contiene las características técnicas del arma (número de serie, marca, calibre, clase y capacidad de carga), fecha de venta del arma y datos del comprador (número de cédula o NIT, dirección, teléfono, oficio).

INDUMIL keeps a systematic record of manufactured and imported arms … Additionally it keeps a record of the guns that have been licenced to civilians (individuals, companies, private security companies) and to Government armed forces and law enforcement agencies. The system shows the gun's technical information (serial number, brand, caliber, type and load capacity), date of sale and personal data of the buyer (ID number, address, phone and occupation).
