Authorization for the import or export of official or civilian weapons and ammunition is granted on the basis of an application from the relevant individual or legal entity. The application must indicate the name, make, type and quantity of weapons and ammunition being imported or exported, the purpose and duration of the import or export and details of certification of the weapons being imported.
