Para el año 2008 se sometieron a un proceso de fundición un total de 27.864 armas, que ingresaron como resultado del decomiso definitivo a favor del Estado, de las cuales 11.146, eran originales (40% del total) y 16.718 eran artesanales (60% restante).

Respecto al año 2009, se fundieron 26.014 armas, que también ingresaron como resultado del decomiso definitivo a favor del Estado. De éstas, 11.396 eran originales (43.80% del total) y 14.618 eran artesanales (56.19% restante).
