Article 29

The owner or user of the weapon is obliged to carry the weapon in a way that will not jeopardize its personal safety and the safety of others.

It is forbidden to carry and use weapons in public places.

Under public place, in the sense of this law, is considered a place where undefined number of people have free access without any kind of limitations (streets, squares, roads, excursion places, ports, airports, railway stations, bus stations, waiting rooms, tourism and trading facilities, handicraft shops and similar) or under specific conditions (sport stadiums, playgrounds, means of public transportation, cinema halls, theater or concert halls, exhibition spaces, gardens and similar), as well as other places that at a certain time serve for such purposes (terrains or vendors where public gatherings are held, manifestations, matches and similar, where by its use can be jeopardized safety of the people.

Under public place, in sense of this law, will not be considered a place that has an approach to public place by sight (balcony, veranda, house yard space, stairs), as well as transportation means owned by citizens, shooting ranges or terrains for training and hunting during hunting season.

It is forbidden to carry and use hunting weapon outside of hunting place or shooting range. Outside of hunting place or shooting range, the owner or user of the hunting weapon is obliged to transport the hunting weapon in its cover, while the ammunition must be separated from the weapon.

It is forbidden that sport weapon is carried and used outside of shooting range or other terrain determined as sport shooting range for the competition. Outside of shooting range or other terrain determined as sport shooting range for the competition, the owner or user of the sport-shooting weapon is obliged to transport the sport-shooting weapon in its cover, while the ammunition must be separated from the weapon.

Disposition from paragraph 2 of this law does not include participants of:
1. production of movie, theater plays or other cultural manifestations for who's needs is used unloaded weapon or weapon with maneuver ammunition.
2. sport shooting competitions; and
3. Sports competitions, during announcing start of the game with maneuver ammunition upon organizers' order.

It is forbidden that air weapon and weapon with a cord to be carried and used outside of shooting range or other protected space.

Air weapon and weapon with a cord can be used by minor persons only in a shooting range or other protected space determined for competitions in sport shooting range and under monitoring of an adult person.

Transportation of weapon can be done in that way that the weapon is taken apart (barrel should be separated from the locking mechanism, while the ammunition should be separated from the weapon).
