Huge Arms Haul in Bangladesh

Bangladesh's biggest illegal arms haul took place in Chittagong on 2 April 2004.

The seizure included 1,290 7.62mm sub-machine guns, 400 9mm automatic carbines, 100 automatic rifles, 150 40mm automatic T-69 rocket launchers, 5,192 sub-machine gun magazines, 400 rifle magazines, 400,000 pistol cartridges and 25,020 hand grenades. (212)
