Las armas, municiones y materia para el uso exclusivo del Ejército, Armada y Fuerza Aérea, son las siguientes:

a) Revólveres calibre .357 Magnum y los superiores a .38 Especial.
b) Pistolas calibre 9 mm. Parabellum, Luger y similares, las .38 Super y Comando, y las de calibres superiores.
c) Fusiles, mosquetones, carabinas y tercerolas en calibre .223, 7 mm., 7. 62 mm. y carabinas calibre .30 en todos sus modelos.
d) Pistolas, carabinas y fusiles con sistema de ráfaga, sub-ametralladoras, metralletas y ametralladoras en todos sus calibres.
e) Escopetas con cañón de longitud inferior a 635 mm. (25), las de calibre superior al 12 (.729 ó 18.5 mm) y las lanzagases, con excepción de las de uso industrial.
f) Municiones para las armas anteriores y cartuchos con artificios especiales como trazadores, incendiarios, perforantes, fumígenos, expansivos de gases y los cargados con postas superiores al 00 (.84 cms. de diámetro) para escopeta.
g) Cañones, piezas de artillería, morteros y carros de combate con sus aditamentos, accesorios, proyectiles y municiones.
h) Proyectiles-cohete, torpedos, granadas, bombas, minas, cargas de profundidad, lanzallamas y similares, así como los aparatos, artificios y máquinas para su lanzamiento.
i) Bayonetas, sables y lanzas.
j) Navíos, submarinos, embarcaciones e hidroaviones para la guerra naval y su armamento.
k) Aeronaves de guerra y su armamento.
l) Artificios de guerra, gases y substancias químicas de aplicación exclusivamente militar, y los ingenios diversos para su uso por las fuerzas armadas.

En general, todas las armas, municiones y materiales destinados exclusivamente para la guerra.

Las de este destino, mediante la justificación de la necesidad, podrán autorizarse por la Secretaría de la Defensa Nacional, individualmente o como corporación, a quienes desempeñen empleos o cargos de la Federación, del Distrito Federal, de los Estados o de los Municipios, así como a servidores públicos extranjeros en los casos a que se refieren los artículos 28 y 28 Bis de esta Ley.

Article 11

The arms, munitions, and material for the exclusive use of the Army, Navy and Air Force are the following:

a) Revolvers in .357 Magnum and those superior to .38 Special.
b) Pistols in the calibres 9 mm. Parabellum, Luger and similar, the .38 Super and Commando, and the superior calibres.
c) Rifles, mosquetones [a firearm shorter than a rifle, e.g., the 1916 Mauser], carbines, and tercerolas, [a firearm shorter than a carbine, used by cavalry, e.g. the 1871 Remington, 1879 Remington, or the Spencer repeater] in calibres .223, 7 mm., 7.62 mm. and .30 calibre carbines in all models.
d) Pistols, carbines and rifles with burst-fire systems, sub-machine guns, in all calibres.
e) Shotguns with barrel of length less than 635 mm. (25), those of calibre superior to 12 (.729 or 18.5 mm) and teargas launchers, with exception of those for industrial use.
f) The ammunition for the previous firearms and cartridges with special artifices like tracers, incendiaries, armor-piercing, smoke-producing, expansion of gases and shells with loads superior to 00 (.84 cms. diameter) for shotguns.
g) Cannons, artillery elements, mortars and combat cars with their pieces, accessories, bullets and ammunition.
h) Rocket projectiles, torpedoes, grenades, bombs, mines, depth charges, flame-throwers and other similar ítems, as well as the machines, mechanisms and other products necessary for their throwing.
i) Bayonets, sabres, and spears.
j) Ships, submarines, boats and sea-planes for naval warfare and their weaponry.
k) War aircrafts and their weaponry.
l) Other military weaponry such as gases and chemical substances for exclusive military use and other products to be used by the Armed Forces.

In general, all the arms, ammunition, and materials destined exclusively for the war.

The Secretariat of the National Defence may authorise the individual or corporative transfer of military weapons, subject to a valid reason, to those who hold jobs or positions in the Federation, the Federal District, the States or the Municipalities, as well as foreign public servants in the conditions mentioned in Articles 28 and 28 Second of this Act.
