Article 51

Trade with arms and ammunition can be carried out by trading companies with headquarters in the territory of the Republic of Macedonia which prior to the entry in the trade registry will receive approval to carry out this activity by the Minister of Internal Affairs.

Trade with arms and ammunition in the sense of this law is considered to be purchase of arms and ammunition for the purposes of selling, storage and keeping of arms and ammunition and their wholesale and retail sale.

The trading companies from Paragraph 1 of this article can carry out trade only with arms and ammunition that are defined in the National Catalogue and marked in accordance with Article 49 of this law.

The trading companies from Paragraph 1 of this article can sell arms and ammunition only to natural persons and legal entities that possess approval for purchase of arms and ammunition, or license for arms or license for possession of arms.

The provisions of Articles 45, 46 and 48 of this law are also adequately applied to trading companies that carry out trade with arms and ammunition.
