Artigo 4.º Classifi cação das armas, munições e outros acessórios

1. As armas são classifi cadas nas classes A, B, B1, C, D, E, F e G, de acordo com o grau de perigosidade e do fi m a que se destinam, conforme o Quadro II, em anexo à presente lei, da qual faz parte integrante.

2. As munições destinadas às armas previstas na presente lei têm a classifi cação correspondente às armas a que se destinam.

3. São apenas permitidos, nas armas das classes B, B1, C, D, F e G, os tipos de munições designados internacionalmente por Full Metal Jacket e Lead Round Nose.

Article 4: Classification of weapons, ammunition and other accessories

1. Weapons are classified in classes A, B, B1, C, D, E, F and G, according to the degree of danger and the purpose they are intended for, according to Table II attached to this law, of which it forms an integral part.

2. Ammunition intended for the weapons provided for in this law shall have the same classification as the corresponding weapons for which they are intended.

3. Only the types of ammunition internationally designated as Full Metal Jacket and Lead Round Nose are allowed in weapons of classes B, B1, C, D, F and G.
