Artigo 58.º Importação de armas e munições

1. É permitida a importação de armas, suas componentes e munições nos termos e condições estabelecidos na presente lei e seus regulamentos.

2. Podem importar armas de fogo e munições, não proibidas nos termos da presente lei:
a) O Estado, através da Direcção Nacional da Polícia Nacional;
b) Os estabelecimentos comerciais e os titulares de licença para o comércio de armas com capital social não inferior a 5.000.000$00 (cinco milhões de escudos), quando para o efeito sejam autorizados pela Direcção Nacional da Polícia Nacional.

Article 58: Import of weapons and ammunition

1. The importation of weapons, their components and ammunition is allowed under the terms and conditions established in this law and its regulations.

2. The following entities may import any firearms and ammunition not prohibited under this law:
a) The State, through the National Directorate of the National Police;
b) Commercial establishments and holders of license to trade in weapons with capital not less than 5,000,000$00 (five
million escudos), which are authorized for this purpose by the National Directorate of the National Police.
