Artikel 9

1. Aan elke machtiging tot het voorhanden hebben van een vuurwapen wordt steeds de voorwaarde verbonden, dat de houder de bepalingen, bij of krachtens de Vuurwapenverordening gesteld, stipt zal naleven.

2. Aan een machtiging tot het voorhanden hebben van vuurwapenen, verleend aan iemand die van het afleveren van vuurwapenen of van munitie aan particulieren een beroep of een gewoonte maakt, worden steeds de navolgende voorwaarden verbonden:
a. dat de houder behoorlijke voorzorgsmaatregelen zal nemen en behoorlijk toezicht zal oefenen of doen oefenen om te verzekeren dat voor hem handelende personen de bepalingen, bij of krachtens de Vuurwapenverordening gesteld, stipt naleven;
b. dat het doorlopend register, hetwelk hij ingevolge artikel 4 van de Vuurwapenverordening moet houden, is ingericht naar het bij dit landsbesluit gevoegd model E;
c. dat hij op een bon voor de aflevering van een vuurwapen alleen dan een vuurwapen zal afleveren, indien de inhoud van de bon zich daartegen niet verzet, en dat hij alsdan met de bon zal handelen, als daarop is aangegeven;
d. dat hij er nauwlettend zorg voor draagt, dat wapens en munitie, die hij voorhanden heeft, steeds onderling streng gescheiden bewaard worden in behoorlijk afgesloten plaatsen of ruimten, die onderling zover mogelijk van elkander verwijderd zijn.

Article 9

1. Each authorization to possess a firearm is always conditional upon the holder strictly complying with the provisions set forth in or pursuant to the Firearms Ordinance.

2. An authorization to possess firearms granted to a person who makes the supply of firearms or ammunition to private individuals a profession or habit shall always be subject to the following conditions:
a. that the holder will take proper precautions and exercise proper supervision or cause proper supervision to be exercised to ensure that persons acting on his behalf strictly comply with the provisions set forth in or under the Firearms Ordinance;
b. that the continuous register, which he is required to keep pursuant to Article 4 of the Firearms Ordinance, is organized according to model E attached to this national decree;
c. that on a voucher for the delivery of a firearm he shall deliver a firearm only if the contents of the voucher do not oppose it, and that he shall then deal with the voucher as indicated thereon;
d. that he will closely ensure that weapons and ammunition which he has at his disposal are always kept strictly separated from one another in properly locked places or spaces, as far apart from one another as possible.
