Section 1: Interpretation

(1) In this Act:

"restricted person means any person who
(a) is a habitual criminal, or
(b) has at any time within 5 years next before the event in relation to which the term is used been declared by a court pursuant to section 3 to be a restricted person, or
(ii) been convicted of an offence involving violence and sentenced to a term of imprisonment exceeding 3 months
