Ampuma-asetta, aseen osaa, patruunoita ja erityisen vaarallisia ammuksia ei saa luovuttaa toiselle, ellei tässä laissa toisin säädetä.

Edellä 1 momentissa tarkoitetut esineet saadaan kuitenkin luovuttaa poliisille ja muulle viranomaiselle, jonka toimivaltaan kuuluu ampuma-aseita koskevien asioiden käsitteleminen.

84 § Surrender of firearms, parts of firearms, cartridges and particularly dangerous ammunition

Firearms, parts of firearms, cartridges and particularly dangerous ammunition may not be transferred to another person, unless otherwise provided for in this Act.

However, the objects referred to in paragraph 1 may be handed over to the police and other authorities competent to deal with firearms.
