81 § Yksityinen siirtolupa

Luvan ampuma-aseen, aseen osan, patruunoiden ja erityisen vaarallisten ammusten siirtoon Suomesta yksityistä tarkoitusta varten (yksityinensiirtolupa) antaa ja peruuttaa hakijan kotikunnan tai oleskelupaikan taikka kotipaikan poliisilaitos. (29.6.2001/601)

Lupa voidaan antaa, jos siirtoon ei määrämaan viranomaisen antaman ilmoituksen perusteella ole estettä ja siirto-olosuhteet ovat turvalliset.

Yksityistä siirtolupaa koskeva lupatodistus on pidettävä mukana esineitä siirrettäessä.

81 § Private transfer licence

A permit to transfer a firearm, parts of a firearm, cartridges and particularly dangerous ammunition from Finland for private purposes (private transfer permit) shall be issued and revoked by the police department of the applicant's municipality of residence, place of stay or domicile. (29.6.2001/601)

The permit may be issued if the transfer is not prevented by a notification from the authority of destination and the conditions of transfer are safe.

The certificate of authorisation for a private transfer licence must accompany the objects when they are transferred.
