Article 17

O porte de arma de fogo é pessoal, intransferível e revogável a qualquer tempo, e será válido em todo o território nacional para as armas de fogo de porte de uso permitido devidamente registradas no acervo do proprietário no Sinarm ou no Sigma. (Redação dada pelo Decreto nº 10.630, de 2021).

§ 1º O porte de arma de fogo autoriza a condução simultânea de até duas armas de fogo, respectivas munições e acessórios. (Incluído pelo Decreto nº 10.630, de 2021).

§ 2º O documento de porte deverá ser apresentado em conjunto com o documento de identificação do portador e o Certificado de Registro da Arma de Fogo valido (Incluído pelo Decreto nº 10.630, de 2021).

Article 17

The [permit for] possession of a firearm is personal, non-transferable and revocable at any time, and will be valid throughout the national territory for firearms of permitted use, duly registered in the owner's collection at Sinarm or Sigma. (Wording given by Decree No. 10.630, of 2021).

§ 1 The possession of a firearm authorizes the simultaneous carrying of up to two firearms, their ammunition and accessories. (Included by Decree No. 10.630 of 2021).

§ 2 The transport document must be presented together with the bearer's identification document and the valid Firearm Registration Certificate. (Included by Decree No. 10.630 of 2021).
