6. Ieroču komersants, kas Latvijā izgatavo A, B un C kategorijas medību, sporta vai pašaizsardzības šaujamieročus vai atsevišķas šaujamieroču būtiskās sastāvdaļas, nodrošina (ja tas ir tehniski iespējams), ka šaujamieroču būtisko sastāvdaļu marķējums ir vizuāli redzams bez šaujamieroča izjaukšanas. Marķējums, ko iestrādā uz šaujamieroča rāmja, stobra kārbas vai nolaidējmehānisma kārbas, vienmēr ir vizuāli redzams no šaujamieroča ārpuses bez tās izjaukšanas.

6. A weapons merchant who manufactures hunting, sports or self-defense firearms of categories A, B and C in Latvia or certain essential components of firearms shall ensure (if it is technically possible) that the marking of the essential components of the firearm is visually visible without dismantling the firearm. Markings affixed to the frame of the firearm, to the barrel of the firearm or to the box of the lowering mechanism shall always be visually visible from the outside of the firearm without being dismantled.
