4. Ieroču komersants, kas Latvijā izgatavo A, B un C kategorijas medību, sporta vai pašaizsardzības šaujamieročus, nodrošina, ka šaujamieroču būtisko sastāvdaļu marķēšanā izmanto latīņu alfabēta burtus un arābu ciparus. Būtisko sastāvdaļu marķējumā izmantotais ciparu un burtu izmērs ir vismaz 1,6 mm, bet dziļums – vismaz 0,02 mm.

5. Ja būtiskā sastāvdaļa ir pārāk maza, lai to varētu marķēt atbilstoši šo noteikumu 4. punktā minētajam ciparu un burtu izmēram, atļauts izmantot mazāku rakstzīmju izmēru.

II. Marking of firearms and their essential components, gas weapons of category E, signal weapons and high-energy pneumatic weapons

4. A weapons merchant who manufactures hunting, sporting or self-defense firearms of categories A, B and C in Latvia shall ensure that the letters of the Latin alphabet and Arabic numerals are used in the marking of the essential components of firearms. The size of the figures and letters used to label the essential components shall be at least 1.6 mm and the depth at least 0.02 mm.

5. If the essential component is too small to be marked in accordance with the size of numbers and letters referred to in Paragraph 4 of these Regulations , a smaller font size may be used.
