While Georgia does not publish gun registration data, 2016 MIA figures obtained through our freedom of information request were surprisingly low: 319,529 firearms licensed to civilians (including 191,619 handguns and 127,910 hunting guns), with 59,605 civilians holding a licence for at least one gun.
