Type of firearm and ammunition

1. Residence in an eligible locality
A person who has proven that the center of his life takes place in a locality, for which eligibility has been determined by the Israel Police.

4. A well-known farmer
An active farmer whose need for possession of a firearm has been recognized by the Regional Council of the Regional Councils or the Director General of the Farmers' Association or the Secretary General of the Moshavim Movement.

5. Transport of explosives: holder of a valid license to transport explosives.

6. Security forces service
Servants and graduates of the security forces: IDF officers with the rank of lieutenant and above, IDF counterparts with the rank of Major and above and their counterparts in the other security forces.
Service in a special unit of the security forces, from a list determined by a person authorized to do so by the security forces. In the IDF and in the police - fighters, rifle 07, rifle 08.

7. Service in the Israel Police
A police officer who serves or has served in the regular service of the Israel Police for at least two years. An active volunteer in the Israel Police according to a police permit and in accordance with the procedures it establishes.

8. Unique training
Airports Authority (graduate of a uniform security course or a security course for security guards at the Airports Authority's Security Training School). 9. Individual recommendation of the Israel Police
The competent authority may issue a license in this condition even though the conditions set forth in threshold requirements 1 to 3 are not met, if the applicant has reached the age of 21, provided that the Israel Police has recommended in its application that a license be granted even though such conditions are not met. A recommendation will be given in accordance with a procedure established by the police for this matter.

10. A security officer in a recognized body
A security officer in a body recognized by the Israel Police, trained by the police, used in this actual position and approved for this purpose by the head of the police security division.

11. Fireman
An active firefighter in the National Fire and Rescue Authority, with at least two years' experience in his position, according to a procedure established for this matter.

12. Workers and volunteers in rescue bodies

13. Shooting Guide
An active shooting guide associated with a licensed shooting range. Holder of a shooting instructor license.

14. Athlete - active shooter
License for firearms used for Olympic shooting: a member of the Israeli Shooting Association for two years in a row, who has participated in five competitions recognized by the Shooting Association each season.
License for non-Olympic firearms:
A registered member of the Israel Shooting Association for three consecutive years, who has participated in five competitions recognized by the Shooting Association each season, including two competitions in the national league or the Israeli championship.
No license for a firearm defined by the competent authority as military shall be granted.
Firearms according to the recommendation of the Shooting Association, subject to the restrictions specified in the definition distinguished ammunition according to the recommendation of the Shooting Association.

15. Hunting
Holder of a valid hunting license or hunting permit from the Nature and Parks Authority.
Firearms on the recommendation of the Nature and Parks Authority
700 bullets of a type to be determined on the recommendation of the Nature and Parks Authority.

16. Veterinary needs
A veterinarian licensed by the Ministry of Agriculture: a person who works regularly under the supervision of a veterinarian and under his supervision
A firearm intended for veterinary purposes only, as recommended by the Director of Veterinary Services at the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

17. Exterminator
A Level 2 certified exterminator license is valid from the Ministry of Environmental Protection

18. Souvenir
Anyone who has inherited a firearm or who has a firearm in their license, and wishes to leave it in a temporarily disabled state for souvenir purposes.

In exceptional cases and for special reasons, the head of the division may approve the possession of a firearm given as a gift for souvenir purposes. A firearm held under license, in a position temporarily disabled according to wing procedures and without ammunition.
