4.1. Does your country have laws, regulations and/or administrative procedures governing brokering of SALW? YES

4.1.1. List laws and/or administrative procedures regulating SALW brokering in your country.

Under the new arms and ammunition law as amended, the following provisions do apply:
- A broker is registered for a fixed period and can conduct brokering activities for defined items and destinations;
- A broker applies for an authorization to undertake brokering activities in a particular arms deal; and
- A two-stage process, under which a broker is registered and must then apply for an authorization to undertake brokering activities for each particular arms deal.
