Albanian Legislation allows the manufacture of the SALW, but so far there is no license issued for the manufacture of the SALW.
- The Criminal Code, which has provisions that define criminal offences related to illicit possession of weapons and ammunition, and also firearms and ammunition trafficking.
- Law on Weapons no 74/2014, covers some categories of SALW.
- Council of Ministers Decision No. 658, date 29. 7.2015 regarding "The Procedures for production, deactivation and repairing of weapons".
