The period of validity of permission for possession of hunting guns and air guns under Article 4(1)(1) (excluding the period of validity for renewal of permission under paragraph 2 of the following Article) is the period up to and including the third birthday of the person receiving permission (when the birthday of that person falls on February 29, that person's birthday shall be regarded as February 28; same in the following paragraph) after the day of the grant of permission.
