Part I

Control of trade in products whose possession is regulated in the Czech Republic for security reasons

§ 1 Purpose of legislation
(1) This Act is laying down, in accordance with European Community law (1), provisions for control of trade in products whose possession is regulated by special national provisions in the Czech Republic for security reasons (2)),
a) in the transport of such products from the territory of the EU Member States to the territory of the Czech Republic and in the transport of such products from the territory of the Czech Republic to the territory of the EU Member States, or
b) in their import and export (3))

2) Such as Act No 119/2002 Coll., on fire arms and ammunition and amending Act No 156/2000 Coll., on verification of firearms, ammunition and pyrotechnic objects and amending Act No 288/1995 Coll., on fire arms and ammunition (the Firearms Act, as amended by Act No 13/1998 Coll., and by Act No 368/1992 Coll., on administrative fees, as amended, and Act No 455/1991 Coll., to regulate trades (the Trade Act), as amended by the law no. 320/2002 Coll., (The Arms Act), as amended.
