Norme in materia di armi per uso sportivo.
Articolo 1
Nella legge 18 aprile 1975, n. 110, all'articolo 10, nel sesto comma, il primo periodo e' sostituito dal seguente:
"La detenzione di armi comuni da sparo per fini diversi da quelli previsti dall'articolo 31 del testo unico delle leggi di pubblica sicurezza, approvato con regio decreto 18 giugno 1931, n. 773, e' consentita nel numero di due per le armi comuni da sparo, di sei per le armi da caccia previste dall'articolo 9, primo e secondo comma, della legge 27 dicembre 1977, n. 968, e di sei per le armi per uso sportivo".
Articolo 2
1. Alle armi per uso sportivo viene riconosciuta tale qualifica, a richiesta del fabbricante o dell'importatore, dal Ministero dell'interno su conforme parere della commissione consultiva centrale delle armi, sentite le federazioni sportive interessate affiliate al CONI.
2. Ai sensi e per gli effetti della presente legge, si intendono per armi sportive quelle, sia lunghe che corte, che, per le loro caratteristiche strutturali e meccaniche, si prestano esclusivamente allo specifico impiego nelle attivita' sportive.
3. Delle armi per uso sportivo sottoposte a catalogo a norma della legge 18 aprile 1975, n. 110, modificata con la legge 16 luglio 1982, n. 452, e' redatto un apposito elenco, che sara' annesso al Catalogo nazionale delle armi comuni da sparo.

Article 1
In Law No 110 of 18 April 1975, in Article 10, the first sentence of the sixth paragraph shall be replaced by the following:
"The possession of common firearms for purposes other than those envisaged by Article 31 of the Consolidated Law on Public Security, approved by Royal Decree No 773 of 18 June 1931, is allowed in the number of two for common firearms, six for hunting weapons envisaged by Article 9, first and second paragraphs, of Law No 968 of 27 December 1977, and six for weapons for sporting use".
Article 2
1. At the request of the manufacturer or importer, weapons for sporting use shall be recognised as such by the Ministry of the Interior on the basis of the opinion of the Central Advisory Committee on Arms, after consulting the relevant sports federations affiliated to CONI.
2. Pursuant to and for the purposes of this law, sporting weapons are defined as both long and short arms which, due to their structural and mechanical characteristics, are exclusively intended for specific use in sporting activities.
3. A special list of weapons for sporting use listed under Law No 110 of 18 April 1975, as amended by Law No 452 of 16 July 1982, shall be drawn up and attached to the National Catalogue of Common Firearms.
