The Risks of the Easy Gun

The number of Italians who can shoot is increasing: in 2017, in our country there were 1,398,920 licences, considering all the different types (from hunting to personal defence), with an increase of 20.5% from 2014 and 13.8% only in the last year. The strongest growth has been in the licenses for trap shooting (there are almost 585,000: +21.1% in one year), which are easier to obtain. It can be assumed that today there is a firearm in the homes of almost 4.5 million Italians (700,000 of whom are minors).
