Artículo 273. Se consideran delitos y serán castigados conforme a los artículos pertinentes de este Capítulo, la introducción, fabricación, comercio, posesión y porte de armas que se efectúen en contravención de las disposiciones del presente Código y de la Ley sobre Armas y Explosivos.
Se considerará circunstancia agravante si dichos delitos fueren cometidos por funcionarios de policía, resguardos de aduana, funcionarios públicos, vigilantes privados legalmente autorizados y empleados públicos, casos en los cuales se aumentará la pena hasta un tercio de la media.

Artículo 275. El comercio, la importación, la fabricación, el porte, la posesión, el suministro y el ocultamiento de las armas clasificadas como de guerra según la Ley sobre Armas y Explosivos y demás disposiciones legales concernientes a la materia, se castigarán con pena de prisión de cinco a ocho años.

Artículo 276.- No incurrirán en la pena prevista en el artículo anterior los que posean colecciones de armas consideradas como objetos históricos o de estudio, siempre que para formar, conservar o enajenar dichas colecciones se ciñan a los Reglamentos que dicte el Ejecutivo Nacional.

Artículo 277. El comercio, la importación, la fabricación y el suministro de las demás armas que no fueren de guerra, pero respecto a las cuales estuvieren prohibidas dichas operaciones por la Ley sobre Armas y Explosivos, se castigarán con pena de prisión de cinco a ocho años.

Artículo 278. El porte, la detentación o el ocultamiento de las armas a que se refiere el artículo anterior se castigará con pena de prisión de tres a cinco años.

On the Import, Manufacture, Commerce, Ownership and Carrying of Firearms

Article 273. The import, manufacture, commerce, ownership and carrying of firearms carried out in breach of provisions of the present Code and of the Act on Firearms and Explosives shall be considered offences and shall be punished in accordance with the relevant articles of this Chapter.

Should such offences be committed by police officers, customs officers, public officers, legally authorised private security guards and public employees, they shall be considered as aggravating circumstances and the punishment shall increase by a third.

Article 275. The commerce, import, manufacture, carrying, possession, transfer and concealing of firearms, listed as weapons of war under the Act on Firearms and Explosives and other legal provisions on the matter, shall be punished with a prison term of five to eight years.

Article 276. Collectors of firearms considered to be historical weaponry or object of study shall be exempted from the penalty outlined in the previous article, provided that in order to keep, store or sell such collections they comply with regulations dictated by the National Executive.

Article 277. The commerce, import, manufacture and transfer of firearms that are not weapons of war, which are nonetheless prohibited from going through such operations by the Act on Firearms and Explosives, shall be punished with a prison term of five to eight years.

Article 278. The carrying, possession or concealment of firearms mentioned in the previous article shall be punished with a prison term of three to five years.
