Artículo 26. Documentos de propiedad de armas permitidas

Para la solicitud de inscripción de armas permitidas, se debe adjuntar digitalmente mediante El Sistema el documento de propiedad en donde se demuestre que el solicitante es su legítimo dueño.
Procederá según corresponda:

a) La factura de venta, en los casos en que el arma se haya adquirido en establecimientos comerciales autorizados para la venta habitual de armas permitidas. La factura debe incluir obligatoriamente, nombre y apellidos del comprador, domicilio exacto, número del documento de identificación, la cantidad de armas que se adquirieron, tipo, marca, calibre, modelo y serie de cada una. Este documento lo debe ingresar en El Sistema el establecimiento autorizado.

b) La declaración única aduanera cuando el arma haya sido importada.

c) La carta de venta cuando la transacción de armas de fuego se efectúe entre personas físicas o jurídicas que no se encuentren inscritas como establecimientos comerciales autorizados para la venta habitual de armas permitidas. Debe consignarse necesariamente en dicho documento, los nombres y apellidos, número de cédula de identidad o de residencia permanente libre de condición y dirección exacta del comprador y del vendedor que se encuentre registrado en el Departamento, descripción completa del arma de fuego, tipo, calibre, modelo serie y precio de la transacción, y las firmas de los contratantes debidamente autenticadas…

Article 26. Ownership Documents for Permitted Firearms

To request the registration of permitted firearms, the applicant must electronically attach, through the System, the ownership document demonstrating that the applicant is the legitimate owner.
This shall require, according to circumstances:

a) The sales receipt, if the firearm has been purchased from a business authorised for the regular sale of permitted firearms. The receipt must include the name and surnames of the purchaser, his exact address, the number of the identification card, the quantity of purchased firearms, the type, brand, calibre, model and serial number of each one. The authorised dealer must provide the System with the document.

b) The unique customs declaration [completed] when the firearm was imported.

c) The sales card, if the firearms transfer is carried out between individuals or legal persons who are not registered as dealers authorised for the regular sale of permitted firearms. The document must contain the names and surnames of the applicant, the number of [his/its] identification card or permanent residence, the exact address of the buyer and the seller registered in the department, the complete description of the firearm, type, calibre, model, serial number and price of the transaction, and the signatures of the concerned individuals, duly authenticated…
